In 1992, a store clerk was shot to death in broad daylight at the Boot Village in St. Charles, Missouri. With nothing stolen and no sexual assault, the case seemed baffling—until links emerged to similar murders in Indianapolis, Wichita, Terre Haute, and Raytown. Dubbed “The I-70 Serial Killer”, the suspect was never caught. In 2021, a multi-jurisdictional task force, reignited the investigation. Cyphers documented the hunt in his award-winning series.
