Colorful Chincoteague - Each Monday, June 7th –28th @ 2 PM Listen to a fun, pony themed story and learn about the colors of horses.  

Ready,Action…DREAM! Each Tuesday, June 1st – July 6th @ 2:00 PM Help make your dreams come true this summer!  This 6-week workshop lays the groundwork to start dreaming and take action to make them a reality.

A Color of Their Own - Wednesday, June 16th @ 2 pm (virtual with in library or at home options) Some animals don't have a color of their own . . . they have the colors of the rainbow. Join Douglas Hart Nature Center as we explore colorful animals around the world! Activity kits can be picked up beginning June 14th.    This program has been pre-recorded by Douglas Hart Nature Center Staff and will be available for viewing at home with a link sent via email, or in the library. Please specify how you will be participating when registering.                                                                                   

Plant A Rainbow – Wednesday, June 23rd @ 2 PM Douglas Hart Nature Center will be live at the library!  Roses are red, violets are blue; we’re excited to bring the prairie to you. After learning about the colorful prairie plants and their uses, you will begin planting your own rainbow to take home. 

Let’s Eat a Rainbow – June 30th @ 2 PM with Mary Liz Wright, U of I Extension. Join us to learn and play a game and even make a yummy snack!  


Colors of Nature with Silly Safaris – Wednesday, July 7th @ 2 PM  Join us for a fun, animal filled program on the courthouse lawn.
