DESCRIPTION:Step back into time when you enter the library doors on Sunday\
 , November 20th.  This will be the Grand Opening for our hosting of the S
 mithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition\, 'Thte Way We Worked'.  Get 
 a sense of Marshall's work heritage by looking at a large display of histo
 ric local business memorabilia and photos\, watch a video of many local fo
 lks being interviewed about the work they did in years past and what it wa
 s like\, try your hand in the 'Name That Tool' contest and win tickets to 
 the Doudna Center for Performing Arts at Eastern Illinois University.  Dr
 . Robert Bruno\, professor of Labor History at the University of Illinois 
 Chicago will give a brief keynote address about Illinois work history.  A
 nd you wille enjoy seeing several 'Mytery Workers' walking about in authen
 tic work attire from long ago.  Friend of the Library will provide refres
 hments. Don't forget the most important thing - a docent led tour of this 
 special national exhibit!
